Do you mod it, draw it or both? I've never really understood Tumblr, call me a dinosaur.

But I've been intruiged by ask blogs, I've read a couple, you see them not just on tumblr but a little everywhere, and it looks like exactly the sort of thing I could do fairly well, about half my art is sorta one-panel comics with characters talking diretly to the camera, I can do mini-comics.

The main reason I haven't started one is that I figured I'd either get no questions or every question would have to do with some sort of horrifying sexual fetish of some kind...

I suggest you try and go for it~! I'd advise against running an OC blog because those tend to get fairly little attention unless they are ridiculously great.
it's better to try and fail than not try at all, right?

That it is, hmmm.. what do you think about "Ask Mayor Mare & Derpy", I'm prolly the only one who kinda ship those two because I liked their cute fight in Lesson Zero. And if I don't get any questions, I could just do the occasional silly side-story until I do.

Yeah, I know a couple of blogs that make posts regardless of wether they use asks or not.
I'll admit I'm not really into shipping, but I know it's pretty popular on tumblr.

I should probably warn you that you might get hate for shipping Derpy with anyone else than the doctor though. The best option is to simply ignore the people that do.
